GLACIERS   We saw many glaciers as we sailed the Inside Passage, none more beautiful than those in Glacier Bay. The bay is only open to cruiseships for a very short period each year, and we were lucky to be among those allowed to enter. Many of the glaciers were streaked with brilliant turquoise highlights and it was fascinating to realize how many thousands of years old they were.
