What is an etsy shop?
My shop, SimplySuzula, was set up in Nov. 2007. I sell vintage collectibles, most of which I have gathered through the years and have tired of. I try and keep around 250 items listed at all times and have sold 647 to date. My three daughters also have shops. Lori, the eldest, set up her first shop, Fisheye, in Jan. 2007. Here she sells one-of-a-kind handmade purses and other accessories, pottery, and supplies. Her second shop, Fishlegs, was opened in Nov. 2007 to sell vintage items. She has been very successful in both of these shops. Joey, my middle daughter, has closed her shop, AuroraFedora, while she reorganizes her life as a full-time gammy. Linda, the youngest, makes cute purses, totes, dresses, and backpacks from recycled tee shirts and sells them in her shop, Gatonegro. All of us really enjoy being a part of the etsy community.

I recently joined an Etsy team, TEAMEPE or Etsy Project Embrace. It was started by friends of Laura, a fellow Etsian who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. From 3 or 4 members, it has grown to almost 200 and has raised almost $7,000 for the American Cancer Society. Click on the link below to read more about it.
